For the first time ever, they’re playing an Italian festival — and what better place to kick things off than Poplar? Their fifth album, Chewing The Fat, released last March, marks yet another step forward in their ever-evolving creative journey. Alongside their signature dopamine bursts, the record brings in electronic moments reminiscent of peak LCD Soundsystem — that bittersweet undercurrent only English-speaking music seems to know how to deliver.
