Quentin Lepoure’s world is a thrilling blend of electronic music and indie swagger — heavy, bubbling basslines, sunglasses worn at all hours, and that unmistakable French sense of irony.

His new record, Mydnight, will drop just as the beaches start to empty out, but the urge to dance will carry straight through to September 1, when Myd takes the stage at Poplar.
