YARAKI

Yaraki, aka Yara Smedile, is an Italian-Brazilian artist born in 1999 and raised in Milan’s northern suburbs. Her passion for music began in childhood, and she started writing in her teens as a form of self-reflection and comfort. Her music reflects both her reality and imagination, blending sounds from her neighborhood, street collaborations, and personal experiences.Yaraki aims to highlight the beauty in everyday life, even in difficult situations, rather than focusing only on negatives. In summer 2021, she opened for IRBIS 37 and Frah Quintale, gaining attention with unreleased tracks.Her debut EP Piazza Samba (Gioco; ADA/Warner Music Italy) released in September 2024 showcases her authenticity and expressive freedom, encouraging positivity and resilience. On March 14, 2025, she released the single “Malattia,” followed by “TTXTE” on May 2, 2025.
