DAY 1 - 12 SEPT
15:00
"ROMANZO DI UN MASCHIO"
With: Maria Chiara Cicolani, Valeria De Angelis (Eterobasiche)
Moderator: Gabriele Guadagna (Mica Macho)
One morning you wake up, look in the mirror: you’re a basic straight guy. But a book has been released, written by the Eterobasiche, and it talks about us and with us. To deconstruct, not to destroy. And to work together on a new manifesto where everyone can belong. The authors have crafted an analysis, always with a touch of irony, that makes us reflect on how even men themselves are victims of the patriarchal society.
15:00
Flexible Memory Postcards
With: WAC - Collettivo per l’arte contemporanea
Is photography about remembering or creating a second time? In this workshop, we will work together on archival images recovered from antique markets to create collages. Participants, after selecting the images, will make a postcard dedicated to someone special. The workshop lasts all afternoon, and you can join at any time. No registration is required.
16:00
ChatGPT Is a Trickster
With: Enrico Mensa (ENKK)
We know that ChatGPT makes mistakes, known as "hallucinations." In this talk, we will explore how these "hallucinations" are not a flaw in the system but an inevitable consequence of its true nature: being a bit of a trickster. We will discuss this with Enrico Mensa, also known as Enkk on Twitch, a researcher at the University of Turin who has been working for years on natural language processing and large language models, such as the one behind ChatGPT.
17:00
"LO STATUTO DELLE LAVORATRICI"
With: Irene Soave
Moderator: Lorenzo Caviglia (ATU)
Irene Soave, a journalist, precisely analyzes the working conditions in Italy starting from the Workers' Statute, which still shapes our concept of work. The author navigates between her own experiences and those of many others who grapple daily with regulations and attitudes that undermine their rights and hinder their individual and social advancement.
17:30
"PENSI DI STARE MEGLIO?"
With: Edo Massa
Moderator: Scomodo
I create the boxes, you provide the phrases. A book that is a conversation with all the significant voices surrounding Edoardo. A therapist, but also Batman, the queer police, and all the heroes he could not be or save. His friends and his stories of love, struggles, and dissatisfaction. "Do You Think You’re Doing Better" is unregulated and sardonically crazy, passionate, and ironic.
DAY 2 - 13 SEPT
15:00
SLOWLY, EATING
with: Vita Lenta (Gianvito Fanelli), Davide Zambelli
moderator: Andreas Fernandez
in collaboration with: Economia Solidale Trentina
Bite or savor? Trends and true case studies, such as Gianvito Fanelli’s “Vita Lenta” project, have highlighted the need and desire to take time for ourselves. Lounging, sunbathing, putting away phones and tasks. And also eating, preferably with others. Slowing down has a revolutionary value. It’s a tribute to the romanticization of simple things, which turn into opportunities for experimentation. Enter the eclectic Trentino chef Davide Zambelli, who brings us into his high-altitude kitchen.
15:30
The Beautiful Books of Juta and Sarah Mazzetti
I LIBRI BELLI DI JUTA
E SARAH MAZZETTIWith: Juta, Sarah Mazzetti

Books are read, but what about comics and illustrations? With Livia Satriano, we explore the beautiful works of two artists who have transformed their creativity, continually finding new forms: Sarah Mazzetti and Juta. From the charm of past books to the experiments and questions arising from the intersection of different arts, we delve into their strength and tenderness.
16:00
The TV Series That Ruined Our Lives
with: Giulia Torelli (rockandfiocc)
moderator: Geri Della Rocca De Candal
If TV series didn't exist, we’d probably have a GPA of 30, enviable social lives, and hit the gym every morning. But we wouldn’t know anything about the unlikely love stories in Emily in Paris. Giulia Torelli, aka rockandfiocc, knows well how TV series have glued us to the screen, making us both dream about and detest characters as if they were our roommates. Along with Geri, she will explore, as a true fanatic, the plots that have disrupted us, turning late-night marathons into pieces of our history.
16:30
"ABITUATI A CADERE"
With: Amedeo Cavalleri (Brocchi sui Blocchi)
Moderator: Stefano Piatti
The relationship with the mountain is a complicated one. It brings us face to face with our bodies, our breath, but also with the passage of time and our substance. We are all creatures of the world, like them, we fall and rise beyond limits, with good companions. A passion that is also a way of seeing life, climbing. Amedeo Cavalleri from the Brocchi sui Blocchi collective has written a fun and reflective book for both those new to climbing and those who have made this sport a part of their identity—and a piece of their heart.

BAD ON SATURDAYS

Moderator: Scomodo
Who says pop culture isn't serious? Television formats, TV series, advertisements, voices and faces that quickly became cult phenomena. Postcards from a world that no longer exists but that we continue to replicate while churning out new icons and idols. The transformation of TV, from a change agent capable of addressing the public's needs to a tool of power, entertainment, and revolution, consumed eagerly by generations of viewers. A dual presentation for two brilliant investigations: Sabato Champagne by Alice Valeria Oliveri and Cattive Maestre by Maria Cafagna.
DAY 3 - 14 SEPT
14:30
We Are So Indie
with: Marco Castello, Il decennio breve
In the fifty-fourth episode of Il Decennio Breve, Maria Cafagna, Stefano Monti, and Alice Oliveri arrive at the Poplar Festival in Trento. Joining them is Marco Castello, a musician and singer-songwriter, to take stock of the state of Italian indie music in the 2000s. Whether it’s a cozy living room or the passenger seat of a Jeep cruising through the hinterlands of a Mediterranean island, the meeting of the sharp insights from Il Decennio Breve and Marco Castello’s upbeat spirit will leave us feeling like we’ve been immersed in an Italian summer scene you simply can’t miss.
15:00
The future is not written
with: Ludovico Tersigni, Edoardo Vitale moderator: Scomodo
The Little Prince used to say that grown-ups always ask the wrong questions, like: "What do you do in life?" Ludovico Tersigni and Edoardo Vitale have written two novels that explore the relationship young adults have with this question, with its consequences, expectations, skewed perspectives, and the relentless self-imposed pressures of success. Fake it till you make it, right? Two stories that offer relief because it’s still possible to invent the future, even without being born dreamers.
15:00
Talea Party Fuorisede
with: Libreria Due Punti, La Pinotteria, Vivai Brugna, Orto Aperto Clarina
Whether you're a plant lover or a beginner, you're welcome to this swap party for plants, cuttings, and seeds. Bring your plant and/or adopt a new one! Plus, throughout the afternoon, Vivai Brugna will suggest which plants are suitable for apartments—and the lives of those living away from home—while Orto Aperto Clarina will teach you how to care for garden plants starting from seeds. Don't forget to bring your Poplar cup to transport your new cutting (glass is not recommended!). Talea Party is an idea by La Pinotteria and Elisa Vettori.
16:00 - 17:30
CAPO O VOLTO?

Nonsense workshop with fun questions and stories for curious ears, ages 3 and up.
16:00
Adults are born, children are made
with: Agnese Girelli, Clementina Frascarelli (I diari dei bambini), Dario Falcini (Il Quaderno di compiti delle vacanze per adulti)
Have we ever really stopped being children—stopped inventing games, pouting, or telling lies? A dialogue that invites us to laugh at ourselves and challenges the way we (seemingly) rationally view the world, react to disappointments, and find joy. "God answered my prayers; He said no" and the "Summer Homework Notebook for Adults" tackle this question in two different ways, but with the same underlying question: when do we stop being children?
17:30
Palestine: The Responsibility of the Media and International Law
with: Randa Ghazy, Paolo Turrini, Marco Pertile
moderator: Scomodo
The troubled history of the Palestinian people began long before October 7. However, the media distortions we have witnessed over the past year lead to misinformation about military conduct occurring under the world's watch. In the face of the shortcomings of international law, we attempt to address two of the most natural questions: What are the responsibilities of the media and the institutions managing international order in this conflict?
17:00
The World of Eva: Stories of Climate Change
with: Matteo Miluzio (CHPDB)
The world is changing due to climate change, for which we humans are responsible. What are the evidences? What consequences are we facing? What kind of world will future generations inherit? And what are the main myths of climate change denial? We’ll take a journey through a wealth of data, debunking myths, and exploring future climate scenarios, discovering the world we are leaving behind for Eva, a hypothetical child born today.
DAY 4 - 15 SEPT
14:30
“Ogni prigione è un’isola”
with: Daria Bignardi
moderator: Scomodo
Talking about rehabilitation and social reintegration means looking forward instead of backward. However, it requires the political will to make this shift in perspective. Daria Bignardi first entered a prison thirty years ago, and her book retraces the encounters she has had over the years with all the parties involved in the prison system. It paints a portrait of the injustices in our legal system, with class issues at the forefront, turning prisons into instruments of social revenge.
15:00
Gazèr. The Transformation of the Trentino Music Scene
with: Felix Lalù, Emilio Paranoico
moderator: Davide Leveghi (Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino)
You’re from Trentino, why would you care about music? Yet, the scene is more vibrant than ever. Two artists who are pursuing original projects, each rooted in influences that are both diverse and deeply connected to something inherent in our region, are Felix Lalù and Emilio Paranoico. This panel, in collaboration with the Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino, is part of an initiative to gather sources documenting the transformation of the music scene and, consequently, the cultural evolution in Trentino.
15:00
Imagine a Cure
with: Margherita Paoletti
in collaboration with: Ester Chincarini, Jacopo Gennari and Cellar Contemporary
"Imagine a Cure" is a workshop designed to train emotions and character. Through a series of practical and abstract exercises, artist Margherita Paoletti will guide you through her universe of symbols to rediscover your inner world. It’s that safe corner where we find solace when life becomes a burden. This workshop is part of the Sonde Croniche project, a visual diary that allowed the artist to find an alternative perspective on her chronic illness, discovering a new way to understand her condition amidst suffering.
16:00 - 17:30
CAPO O VOLTO?
with Soledad de La Seggiolina Blu
Nonsense workshop with fun questions and stories for curious ears, ages 3 and up.
16:00
Real or fake?
with: Daniele Zinni (inchiestagram)
moderator: Valerio Cianci (Timeo Edizioni)
Ideas, Disenchantment, and Dystopia. Memes are not all the same, but neither are the days, the stimuli, the routines. A presentation and a dialogue on disenchantment, on the end, and the search for meaning.
16:30
The Passenger – “Alpi”
with: Anna Sustersic (The Passenger), Sofia Farina (L’altra montagna)
The Alps are a multifaceted geography, a unique concentration of environmental and cultural differences. How do we coexist with biodiversity, and how do social, environmental, and economic structures adapt to a region that changes so rapidly? This question explores the dynamic interplay between preserving the diverse natural landscape and managing the evolving needs and impacts of the human communities within this mountainous region.
17:00
“White people rape dogs”
with: Jacopo Iannuzzi
moderator: Scomodo
In the semi-dark rooms of weary young adults yearning to escape, translucent mountains and transparent words glide swiftly. Who would have thought that Trento would become a prominent backdrop for a debut novel? A place where one can channel Kerouac, wake up disoriented, and surrender to the voices of friends, a direction, a woman, or an idea. "White People Rape Dogs" is the debut novel by Jacopo Iannuzzi, a writer who is both aware and free.
