One morning you wake up, look in the mirror: you’re a basic straight guy. But a book has been released, written by the Eterobasiche, and it talks about us and with us. To deconstruct, not to destroy. And to work together on a new manifesto where everyone can belong. The authors have crafted an analysis, always with a touch of irony, that makes us reflect on how even men themselves are victims of the patriarchal society.

Eterobasiche, now with over 300,000 followers on social media, is a project born on the web in November 2021 from an idea by Maria Chiara Cicolani and Valeria De Angelis. Winners of the 2022 Political Satire Award in the “Social” category, Eterobasiche made their prime-time debut on the show Belve, hosted by Francesca Fagnani. Romanzo di un maschio (Einaudi 2024), their first book, was written by Maria Chiara Cicolani.
