To grasp shadows, one must learn to be like them. That’s why the trio composed of Mike, Diak, and Jimmy, known as Fuera, has chosen the path of dematerialization to delve into the night, searching for those hidden corners that are missed by those who rely only on their eyes. This incorporeality has only one point of extreme and disruptive contact with reality: the live performance.

Fuera relies on a different kind of instinct, coming from both deep within and from an alien dimension. They have always done this, from the electronic turmoil of their early days to the psychedelic colors of “Circo Mezzaluna,” their 2022 album, and up to “Sonega,” an album that further expands their cross-genre exploration, blending ambient, IDM, and Latin rhythms. On Friday, September 13 at Poplar, they will appear as lost souls in the night, found even if only for a fleeting moment. Will you manage to capture them?
