VOLT STAGE
If the word "Pufuleti" reminds you of those airy corn cylinders that are as consistent as polystyrene, or worse, if it doesn’t ring any bells at all, then it's time to take a closer look. But if you know who we're talking about, we already know we'll see you under the Poplar stage on Thursday, September 12. Because Pufuleti is just like that: once you listen, it becomes an obsession.
Behind this moniker is Giuseppe Licata, born in Sicily but moved to Germany as a child. He discovered Italian later on, partly through his family and partly from watching Italian TV. After ten years of rapping in German, he decided to switch to his own hallucinatory version of Italian, creating a psychedelic and surreal journey amplified by lo-fi productions and a flow that's as Teutonic as it gets. Navigating his cryptic bars is a mystical experience, where it’s not unusual to find fragments of Mediaset or incomprehensible images even to the sharpest minds. So, do you really think you can afford to miss this?
