Let’s pretend introductions are needed: a German producer and musician with an incredible discography, not to mention that he is half of Moderat (Moderat = MODEselektor + AppaRAT). Apparat is one of the most significant figures in global electronic music, a sort of visionary alchemist applied to the Berlin techno scene who has ended up stretching his beats into the realm of ambient.

So you can imagine how even we find it a bit hard to believe we can say he will have the stage all to himself at Poplar on Friday, September 13. And yet, it’s all true. It will be an experience that will melt your body only to reshape it into another dimension, as only the cinematic power (it’s worth noting how many of his tracks have ended up in various soundtracks) of his music can achieve.
